རྗེས་

I. <verb> Imp. of v.t. རྗེ་བ་ q.v.
II. <noun> The "trace", "imprint", "mark", left behind after something. Often joined with another noun to indicate the type of trace. E.g., རྐང་རྗེས་ "footprint"; ལག་རྗེས་ "hand print"; རྨ་རྗེས་ "scar" / "mark of a sore or wound"; བྱས་རྗེས་ "one's mark"; རྗེས་མེད་ "without trace" or "traceless".
III. <adj><adv> 1) Meaning that which comes after, later. Sometimes an abbrev. of རྗེས་མ་ q.v. Also that which follows, which is subsequent, the ensuing, that which comes afterwards. 2) Abbreviated form of the word for "conclusion" which is usually the third of three main parts of a Buddhist text. E.g., [MMZ] སྔོན་འགྲོ་དང་། དངོས་གཞི་དང་། རྗེས་གསུམ་ལས། "preliminaries, main part, and conclusion...".
