<phrase> "Aggregate of form", "skandha of form". Translation of the Sanskrit "rūpaskandhāḥ". The first of the ཟག་བཅས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་ལྔ་ five skandhas with defilement. This is the psychophysical component of a sentient being which is the various material aspects which make up the sentient being taken as an aggregate. I.e., it is the aggregated aspects of visible forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches i.e., either in toto or in part which compose a sentient being.The Abhidharma defines it as having fifteen components [KPC]: འབྱུང་བ་ཆེན་པོ་བཞི་དང་། དེས་རྒྱུར་བྱས་པའི་གཟུགས་བཅུ་གཅིག་གོ "the four major elements and the eleven types of form produced from them".
