See also ཕུར་པ་ phurpa.[TUR] gives: "The best recitation phurpa is a terma phurpa. The second best recitation phurpa is གནམ་ལྕགས་ཕུར་པ་ a phurpa made from meteoric iron. A recitation phurpa made from ordinary metal or wood is perfectly alright but it is considered to be not as powerful as a terma phurpa or a phurpa made of meteoric metal. The yogins carry the recitation phurpa all the time with them. A recitation phurpa is like a king."
