E.g., [TC] ཡོངས་ཁྱབ་ལ་འདི་ལྟར་བྱེད་དགོས་ཞེས་བཀའ་བསྒོས་སོང་། "the order was given, "it is necessary to do this nationwide". This does not only refer to commands and orders given e.g., by a military or governmental authorities but refers also e.g., to instructions to do such and such given by a teacher to a student. This meaning should not be confused with e.g., འཁྲིད་པ་ which is "to instruct on some subject"; this term means "to issue an order or instruction to do something".II. <verb> v.t. བསྒོས་པ་/ སྒོ་བ་/ བསྒོ་བ་/ སྒོས་/. Intransitive form is འགོ་བ་ q.v. Meaning གོས་པར་བྱེད་པ་ "to cause to be infected / affected with (something undesirable)", "to infect", "to sully", "to taint". E.g., [TC] བག་ཆགས་བསྒོས་པ། "tainted (himself) with habitual patterns"; ན་ཚ་བསྒོས་པ། "infected (caused infection) with illness".
