Transliteration: khams gong ma nyi shu rtsa gcig
<phrase> The "twenty-one higher realms". Of the three realms that constitute existence, the འདོད་ཁམས་ is the lowest. The two realms above it i.e., གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཁམས་ "form realm" and གཟུགས་མེད་ཀྱི་ཁམས་ "formless realm" are the two upper / higher realms. The two upper realms contain a total of twenty-one higher abodes; the seventeen realms of form plus the four formless realms.
