ཞེ་གཅོད་པ་
Transliteration: zhe gcod pa
<verb> see v.t. གཅོད་པ་ for tense forms. "To upset someone", "to be bothered by", "to hurt someone's feelings", "cutting". E.g., རྟག་ཏུ་ཞེ་གཅོད་ཚིག་སྨྲ་བ། "to always say upsetting words / words that hurt the mind / cutting words".
ཐལ་ཚན་
Transliteration: thal tshan
<phrase> "Hot ashes" or "live ashes" e.g., [MDR] describing one type of hell: ཐལ་ཚན་ཆུ་བོའི་ནང་དུ་ལུས་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཚོས་པ། "their bodies are totally baked in a river of hot ashes."
དུ་རུ་ཀ་
Transliteration: du ru ka
Corrupted form of the Indian name ཏུ་རུ་ཥྐ་ which has several meanings q.v. Amongst other things, it has been mistaken to mean "bad" / "not good" and used that way, e.g., བསྐལ་པ་དུ་རུ་ཀ་ "mis-fortune".
དཔལ་སྤུངས་
Transliteration: dpal spungs
<noun> "Palpung". The name of one of the great monasteries of ཁམས་ Eastern Tibet. It was the seat of the སི་ཏུ་ Situ lineage q.v. A retreat centre which later became famous was begun by the first Jamgon Kongtrul.
ཐ་མའི་ཆ་མཐུན་ལྔ་
Transliteration: tha ma'i cha mthun lnga

Transliteration: sihla la
<noun> [LGK] says that this is a Sanskrit term "sihlala" and says of it, "meaning ཚིམ་བྱེད་ and synonymous with the name ཏུ་རུ་ཀ་ is read out as བསིལ་ལ་ which is taken for བསིལ་སྨན་ which is then mistaken as an བརྡ་རྙིང་ old sign of the Tibetan language."
ཕྱིར་ལོག་
Transliteration: phyir log
<noun> The act of a "return", "come back", "back". E.g., བོད་ལ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་ག་དུས་ཕེབས་ཀྱི་རེད། "When will you return / come back to Tibet". E.g., [TC] ཚུར་བྱུང་དངོས་པོ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་ཏུ་སྤྲོད། "gave back the things that came from here to start with".
མི་བཟོད་པ་
Transliteration: mi bzod pa
<adj>phrase> "Unbearable", "intolerable", "un-endurable", "that (he) could not stand", "that could not be withstood". E.g., [GSB] ལྟེ་བའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཚ་བ་མི་བཟོད་པ་ཅིག་བྱུང་། "An unbearable heat arise below the navel".
འཁུལ་བ་
Transliteration: 'khul ba
<verb> v.i. འཁུལ་བ་/ འཁུལ་བ་/ འཁུལ་བ་//. Meaning to be forced, pushed into a lesser position. Hence "to be overcome, subdued, forced down, subjected to...", etc. E.g., བོང་བུས་གཡག་མི་འཁུལ། "a yak is not overcome by an ass"; གཡོག་ཏུ་མི་འཁུལ་བ། "not forced into a servile position"; ཡིད་འཁུལ་བ། "to subjugate mind".
བསམ་དོན་
Transliteration: bsam don

In the line from a fourfold liturgical formula for taken the bodhisatva vow (E.g., as used in Karmapa Thongwa Donden's extensive Vajrayoginī sadhana) བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་ནི་ངེས་མཛད་ལྟར་ "just as (they) definitely did (the arousing of mind) for enlightenment".
