<phrase> "Presence of the teaching" or "the teaching is present"; one of the གཞན་འབྱོར་ལྔ་ five external conditions needed for a precious human rebirth. It refers to the teaching of a buddha still being present in the world. If the teaching is not present then dharma cannot be practised.

<adj> "Steady", "firm", "stable". 1) In general meaning something that is steady and cannot change to a less desirable situation. 2) In some contexts this means "secure" or "safe" e.g., དངུལ་དངུལ་ཁང་དུ་བཅོལ་ན་བརྟན་པོ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད། "if you deposit your money in a bank, it will be safe". 3) In some contexts it means "reliable".
