ཕྲག་
Transliteration: phrag
I. Used after the word forms of numbers to show one of two meanings. 1) Used with multiples of one thousand to show the sense of the multiple e.g., སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་ "one thousand", སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཉིས་ "two thousand", ཁྲི་ཕྲག་གཅིག་ "ten thousand", etc. The sense is the similar to the earlier way in English of saying e.g., "two thousands" instead of just two thousand. མ་ཧཱ་ཡོ་གའི་རྒྱུད་སྡེ་
Transliteration: ma h'a yo ga'i rgyud sde
<phrase> 1) "Class of Mahāyoga tantra" compared to the other two classes of inner tantra or 2) "classes of Mahāyoga tantra" meaning the various tantras making up the མ་ཧཱ་ཡོ་ག་ Mahāyoga tantra section. E.g., མ་ཧཱ་ཡོ་གའི་རྒྱུད་སྡེ་བཅུ་དྲུག་ "The sixteen classes of Mahāyoga tantra" q.v.

རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་འབྲས་གནས་གསུམ་
Transliteration: rgyun zhugs 'bras gnas gsum
<phrase> "The three abiders in the fruit of stream entry". Three of རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་ལྔ་ the five stream-enterers q.v. They are: 1) རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་འབྲས་གནས་ཙམ་པོ་བ་ "the ordinary abider in the fruit of stream entry"; and 2-3) རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་འབྲས་གནས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གཉིས་ "the two special abiders in the fruit of stream entry" q.v.

ཀུན་རྫོབ་བདེན་པ་
Transliteration: kun rdzob bden pa
<phrase> "Fictional truth". Translation of the Sanskrit [NDS] "saṃvṛitisatyaṃ". Usually translated as "relative truth" or "superficial truth" but see ཀུན་རྫོབ་ for discussion.

<noun> The name of the mythical animal, "dragon". 1) "Dragon". <phrase> 1) The morning time period when the day begins to warm up after the first period following sunrise. If sunrise is at 6 a.m. then it is about 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. 2) "Morning" the name of the two hour period from the sunrise on given as one of the དུས་ཚོད་བཅུ་གཉིས་ twelve watches of a day in the Vinaya and corresponding to the meaning in 1).

རྟོགས་པ་བརྗོད་པའི་སྡེ་
Transliteration: rtogs pa brjod pa'i sde
<noun> "Section of Narrations of Realization". The name of a section of the recorded teachings of the Buddha. This is a section of discourses in which the Buddha narrates his own journey to enlightenment. See གསུང་རབ་ཀྱི་ཡན་ལག་བཅུ་གཉིས་ "the twelve branches of the excellent speech". See also རྟོགས་པ་བརྗོད་པ་ q.v.

རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་
Transliteration: rnam par smin pa'i sems bskyed
<noun> "The arousal of mind of full ripening". One of སེམས་བསྐྱེད་བཞི་ four categories of the སེམས་བསྐྱེད་ཉེར་གཉིས་ twenty-two arousals of mind q.v. There are རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དགུ་ nine types of arousal of bodhicitta in this category, corresponding to nine levels of the practitioner in this level q.v.

རྔ་མོང་
Transliteration: rnga mong
<noun> 1) The animal called "camel". [TC] lists its synonyms as འཁོར་ལོའི་མགྲིན་པ་, དགའ་བྱེད་, མཆུ་འཕྱང་, མང་པོ་སྦྲེལ་, རླུང་གཉིས་འཐུང་, རླུང་ལ་དགའ་བ་, ལུས་ཅན་. 2) Name of a mountain in Tibet [TC].

ཐོ་རངས་
Transliteration: tho rangs
<phrase> 1) "Dawn". The name of one of the twelve divisions of the period of a complete day. The earliest part of the dawn. See under ནམ་ལངས་ for more. 2) "Dawn" the name of the two hour period given as one of the དུས་ཚོད་བཅུ་གཉིས་ twelve watches of a day in the Vinaya and corresponding to the first period of dawn; if sunrise is at 6 a.m. it is from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.
