<noun> 1) The general term in classical texts to indicate sexual activity between a male and female of any species. There are many other terms used in special contexts or used more euphemistically. This term is the direct way of saying "sexual intercourse", "copulation". 2) "Couple". The name of one of སྐར་ཁྱིམ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ the twelve houses of the zodiac; the equivalent of "Gemini".

ཀུན་རྫོབ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་

<phrase> "Fictional arousing of the mind (of bodhicitta)". One of སེམས་བསྐྱེད་གཉིས་ the two types of arousing the mind of bodhicitta. This is a term from the ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པའི་ཐེག་པ་ Pāramitā Vehicle. It refers to the specific arousing of the mind that is focussed on the thought to bring all sentient beings to enlightenment based on great compassion and loving kindness.

ཆུ་བུར་
Transliteration: chu bur
<noun> 1) "Water bubbles", specifically meaning bubbles on the surface of water; same meaning as ལྦུ་བ་ q.v. 2) "Water-bubbles" are used as one of སྒྱུ་མའི་དཔེ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ "the twelve analogies of illusion" q.v. 3) "Blisters" that arise on the skin of the body, both those filled with lymph and not. The term ཆུ་ in this case refers to lymph fluid only; it does not refer to pus or blood, etc.

མིའི་རིགས་ནས་རིགས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བ་
Transliteration: mi'i rigs nas rigs su skye ba
<phrase> "Born into the family via the family of men". One of two types of རྒྱུན་ཞུགས་འབྲས་གནས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གཉིས་ "special abiders in the fruit of stream entry". Special abiders in the fruit of stream entry come into that family either from the gods of the desire realm or from མི་ men. This group comes from men.

དཀའ་ཆེན་
Transliteration: dka' chen
<noun> 1) "Kachen". The name of one of the levels of དགེ་བཤེས་ geshe degree at བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལྷུན་པོ་ Tashi Lhunpo monastery. This is the highest level of degree and refers to someone with the highest level of study of the བཀའ་པོད་ལྔ་ "five groupings of the buddha-word" and the commentaries to them. Transliteration: ka la
I. <noun> Translit. of the Sanskrit "kala". Translated into Tibetan with ནག་པོ་ black. Some dictionaries confuse this with the Sanskrit "kāla" meaning དུས་ time.

བྱིན་པ་རི་དྭགས་ཨེཎེཡའི་ལྟ་བུའི་མཚན་བཟང་
Transliteration: byin pa ri dvags aeNeya'i lta bu'i mtshan bzang

ཤཱཀྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་
Transliteration: sh'akya'i rgyal po
<phrase> "King of the Śhākyas". 1) An epithet of Śhākyamuni Buddha. He was born into the Śhākya clan of Northern India and, as a buddha, become the ultimate king of that race. 2) Meaning the actual king of the Śhākya Clan of ancient India / Nepal.
