རང་གི་ངོ་བོ་དོར་བ་
Transliteration: rang gi ngo bo dor ba

གྲོ་བཞིན་སྐྱེས་རྣ་བ་བྱེ་བ་
Transliteration: gro bzhin skyes rna ba bye ba
<noun> Translation of the Sanskrit [MVP] "śhroṇakoṭikarṇa". The name of a ཉན་ཐོས་ śhrāvaka disciple of the Buddha. The name means "born under the constellation śhravaṅā and having ten million ears".
བསྙེལ་བ་
Transliteration: bsnyel ba

འཁྲུ་བ་
Transliteration: 'khru ba
I. <verb> v.i. འཁྲུས་པ་/ འཁྲུ་བ་/ འཁྲུ་བ་//. Lit. "for the guts to wash out" but meaning "to have diarrhoea". See also འཇང་བ་. E.g., [TC] གྲོད་ཁོག་འཁྲུ་བ། "for the guts to empty themselves". Some give this as meaning "to wash" in general but that is mistaken for འཁྲུད་པ་ q.v.

ཤེས་བྱ་བ་
Transliteration: shes bya ba
Incorrectly written for ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ q.v. Following the normal rules of gender in Tibet grammar, ཤེས་བྱ་བ་ ought to be written following the letter ས་ but there is the particular exception in Tibetan grammar that ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ is to be written instead. See under the other, related term ཅེས་བྱ་བ་ q.v. for explanation.
བཞར་བ་
Transliteration: bzhar ba

Transliteration: ngo gnong ba

ཐོང་བ་
Transliteration: thong ba
<verb> v.i. ཐོང་བ་/ ཐོང་བ་/ ཐོང་བ་//. Transitive form is གཏོང་བ་ q.v. A verb which has the same meaning as the transitive གཏོང་བ་ but does not have a transitive agent and action. ཧྲང་བ་
Transliteration: hrang ba
I. <verb> [Dialect] Meaning "to have (developed a bad) habit" and be stuck with that.
II. <adj> [Dialect] "To become stiff", "unworkable, tough". E.g., ཀོ་བ་ཧྲང་བ། "leather which had lost its pliability and become tough".
སྐྱེ་བ་དགུ་
Transliteration: skye ba dgu
<phrase> "The nine births". This refers to འདོད་པ་ལས་ཁམས་གསུམ་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་ taking rebirth from the desire realm into any of the three realms, གཟུགས་ལས་ཁམས་གསུམ་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་ taking rebirth from the form realm into any of the three realms, and གཟུགས་མེད་ལས་ཁམས་གསུམ་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་ taking rebirth from the formless realm into any of the three realms.
རེ་བ་རྫོགས་པ་
Transliteration: re ba rdzogs pa
<verb> v.i. see རྫོགས་པ་ for tense forms. Note that this is the intransitive form meaning "for one's dreams / hopes / aspirations / expectations to be complete". Note the v.t. forms རེ་བ་སྐོང་བ་ and རེ་བ་སྒྲུབ་པ་.
བགྲུང་བ་
Transliteration: bgrung ba
<verb> v.t. བགྲུངས་པ་/ བགྲུང་བ་/ བགྲུང་བ་/ བགྲུངས་/. "To strain" or "to filter" water to clean it. E.g., [TC] ཆུ་རྙོག་བགྲུངས་ཏེ་དྭངས་པར་གྱུར། "the muck was strained from the water so that it became clean".

Transliteration: 'drul ba
