སཏྭ་རེ་སོ་གཉིས་མ་
Transliteration: stva re so gnyis ma
<phrase> "Two-bladed axe" etc., the double-bladed form of an སཏྭ་རེ་ axe q.v.
ཡུལ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་
Transliteration: yul sum cu rtsa gnyis
<phrase> "Thirty-two countries". Also known as the thirty-two sacred places.
ཨོ་རྒྱན་སངས་རྒྱས་གཉིས་པ་
Transliteration: ao rgyan sangs rgyas gnyis pa
<name> "The Second Buddha of Orgyan". A name for Padmasambhava, who was from Uddiyana and is considered to be a second buddha.
གཉིས་འཛིན་
Transliteration: gnyis 'dzin
<noun> "Dualistic grasping", "grasping at duality". Abbrev. of གཉིས་སུ་འཛིན་པ་ q.v. The name for the kind of འཛིན་པ་ grasping in mind that grasps at duality due to མ་རིག་པ་ ignorance. When there is no སེམས་ (dualistic) mind grasping at duality, there is only ཡེ་ཤེས་ wisdom and wisdom only sees གཉིས་མེད་ "non-duality" q.v.
ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་སུ་སྣང་བ་
Transliteration: zla ba gnyis su snang ba
"(Like the) appearing of two moons" referring to མིག་བཙིར་བས་ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་སུ་སྣང་བ། "the visual distortion of two moons appearing (instead of one) when the one is pressed".
སྟོང་པ་གཉིས་པ་
Transliteration: stong pa gnyis pa
<phrase> "Second Empty". A name for the 9th and 24th days of the lunar month; see སྟོང་པ་ for explanation. The terms དཀར་ཕྱོགས་ "light phase" and ནག་ཕྱོགས་ "dark phase" are used to differentiate them; དཀར་ཕྱོགས་སྟོང་པ་གཉིས་པ་ "second empty of the light phase" refers to the 9th day and ནག་ཕྱོགས་སྟོང་པ་གཉིས་པ་ "second empty of the dark phase" refers to the 24th day.
རྫོགས་པ་གཉིས་པ་
Transliteration: rdzogs pa gnyis pa
<noun> "Second Completion". A name for the 10th and 25th days of the lunar month; see རྫོགས་པ་ for explanation. The terms དཀར་ཕྱོགས་ "light phase" and ནག་ཕྱོགས་ "dark phase" are used to differentiate them; དཀར་ཕྱོགས་རྫོགས་པ་གཉིས་པ་ "second completion of the light phase" refers to the 10th day and ནག་ཕྱོགས་རྫོགས་པ་གཉིས་པ་ "second completion of the dark phase" refers to the 25th day.
གཟུང་འཛིན་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་སྟོང་པ་
Transliteration: gzung 'dzin gnyis kyis stong pa
Abbrev. of གཟུང་བ་དང་འཛིན་པ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་སྟོང་པ་ meaning "empty of both the grasped-at and grasper" of dualistic གཟུང་འཛིན་ grasped-grasping q.v.
རྒྱན་གཉིས་
Transliteration: rgyan gnyis

Transliteration: don dam gnyis
<noun> "The two superfactuals". [DGT] gives the two དོན་དམ་ superfactuals as: 1) རྣམ་གྲངས་པའི་དོན་དམ་ assessed superfactual; and 2) རྣམ་གྲངས་མ་ཡིན་པའི་དོན་དམ་ and unassessed superfactual. See also དོན་དམ་བདེན་པ་གཉིས་ "the two superfactual truths".
གཉིས་སུ་འཛིན་པ་
Transliteration: gnyis su 'dzin pa

བཟང་པོ་གཉིས་པ་
Transliteration: bzang po gnyis pa
