བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་
Transliteration: bde ba chen po'i ye shes
<phrase> "Great bliss wisdom". Although this is sometimes translated as wisdom of great bliss, that is not the meaning. The term means that of all the different aspects there are of wisdom, this is the great bliss aspect of wisdom.
སྤྲོས་པའི་མཐའ་དང་བྲལ་བ་
Transliteration: spros pa'i mtha' dang bral ba
<phrase> "Free of elaborated extremes", "free from the extremes of elaboration". See the མཐའ་བརྒྱད་ for a listing of the eight extremes and hence the elaborations of such. See also སྤྲོས་བྲལ་བརྒྱད་ "the eight freedoms from elaboration".
མངོན་ཤེས་དང་གནས་ལ་དབང་བསྒྱུར་བ་

འཕྱུར་བ་
Transliteration: 'phyur ba

The best example of the meaning is like milk that boils up and over; the level of the milk starts to rise, the surface of the milk is agitated at the same time, and finally the whole lot just heaves up and spills over the edges of the pot. མི་འཕོ་བ་
Transliteration: mi 'pho ba
I. <verb> negative of འཕོ་བ་ q.v.
II. <noun><adj> "Unshifting" meaning that which does not shift state. That which does not alter and become something else. E.g., one of the five attributes of ནམ་མཁའ་ "(uncompounded) space".
བརྟན་མ་བྱ་བ་
Transliteration: brtan ma bya ba
<phrase> "Performing the Tenma ceremony". Secret mantra terminology of the རྙིང་མ་ old school regarding ཚོགས་འཁོར་ feast gathering. The name of a section of the ritual in which བརྟན་མ་སྐྱོན་བ་ the Tenmas are activated.
བཀའ་བློ་བདེ་བ་
Transliteration: bka' blo bde ba
[Old] "Conversation which is expressed in words that make the other pleased". This is especially application in situations, such as the monastic life of Buddhism, in which great respect and honour were required between all parties. Opp. is བཀའ་བློ་མི་བདེ་བ་ q.v.
གླེང་སློང་བ་
Transliteration: gleng slong ba
<verb> v.t. see སློང་བ་ for verb forms. 1) "To raise / bring up an issue" which leads to discussion (which might include questioning something) i.e., "to instigate a conversation or discussion about something". 2) "To start off / head up / begin / initiate a discussion or conversation (about something)".
ཕོག་སྙ་ཆེ་བ་
Transliteration: phog snya che ba
<phrase> Acc. [LGK] this term was revised during the སྐད་གསར་བཅད་ language revisions and meant, when written in new signs, སྲན་ཆེ་བ་, a greater level of fortitude, ability to withstand difficulties.
གནས་འགྱུར་བ་
Transliteration: gnas 'gyur ba
<verb> see v.i. འགྱུར་བ་ for tense forms. "To switch" from being one thing to another; similar to transform but this term needs to be kept separate from that. Freq. used in Development Stage in relation to the deity and deity's world.
གྱོང་སྐུར་བ་
Transliteration: gyong skur ba
<verb> see v.t. སྐུར་བ་ for tense forms. "To make a sacrifice / make sacrifices". Often used in relation to what a meditator has to do if he wants to become a beggar who wanders the mountains. In cases that also, "to reduce to the bare minimum / bare necessity".
ངན་ལང་ཤོར་བ་
Transliteration: ngan lang shor ba
I. <verb> see v.i. ཤོར་བ་ for tense forms. "To fall into a bad habit of...", "to slip into bad habits of...", etc. Note that this whole phrase is reduced to a noun in the form ལང་ཤོར་ q.v.

Transliteration: bskal ba

ལྷག་མ་འབུལ་བ་
Transliteration: lhag ma 'bul ba
I. <verb> v.t. see འབུལ་བ་ for tense forms. "To offer the leftovers".
II. <gerundial>phrase> "The Offering of the leftovers". Secret mantra terminology regarding ཚོགས་འཁོར་ feast gathering. The name of the section of a feast where the leftovers are offered.
འཆི་བ་འོད་གསལ་
Transliteration: 'chi ba 'od gsal
<phrase> 1) "The luminosity of death". The འོད་གསལ་བ་ luminosity of mind appears to beings under various circumstances e.g., see གནས་སྐབས་བཞི་ the four circumstances. One circumstance is the luminosity of death. 2) "The luminosity at death". The very final step in the death process is the appearance of luminosity.
དུས་ཀྱིས་འཆུ་བ་
Transliteration: dus kyis 'chu ba
<phrase> [Old] Acc. [LGK] this term was revised during the སྐད་གསར་བཅད་ language revisions and meant, when written in new signs, དབང་གིས་འཆུ་བ་ meaning "to be taken away / off by force".
ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་འགྲོ་བ་
Transliteration: pha rol tu 'gro ba
I. <verb> v.t. see འགྲོ་བ་ for tense forms. "To go to the other side" or "to go to the other shore".
II. <gerundial>phrase> Translation of the Sanskrit "parāyeṇam". "A going to the other side / shore". The noun form is ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ q.v.
ཡུན་རིང་དུ་སྲིང་བ་
Transliteration: yun ring du sring ba
I.<verb> see v.t. སྲིང་བ་ for tense forms. "To extend the length (in terms of time) / the period of...", "to prolong", "to make go for longer".
