རེ་བ་བྱེད་པ་
Transliteration: re ba byed pa
<verb> v.t. see བྱེད་པ་ for tense forms. From the noun རེ་བ་ q.v. "To engender a hope", "to make a wish", "to develop an expectation". Also, to express a wish to somebody, which then is similar to the idea of requesting something from that person.
གོམ་པ་འདོར་བ་
Transliteration: gom pa 'dor ba
<verb> v.t. see འདོར་བ་ for tense forms. "To walk", "to stride", "to step", "to pace", "to take a step". See also གོམ་པ་. Note that this is exactly the same meaning as གོམ་པ་རྒྱག་པ་ q.v., though གོམ་པ་རྒྱག་པ་ is the standard phrase for "to walk" used in colloquial.
སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་
Transliteration: sngon du 'gro ba

II. <gerundial>phrase> per the verb. The true noun form is written སྔོན་འགྲོ་ q.v.
མཐའ་འཁོབ་ཏུ་སྐྱེ་བ་
Transliteration: mtha' 'khob tu skye ba
I. <verb> v.i. see སྐྱེ་བ་ for tense forms. "To take birth in a border country".
II. <gerundial>phrase> per the verb "taking birth in a border country". The true noun form is written མཐའ་འཁོབ་ཏུ་སྐྱེས་པ་ q.v.
གསལ་བ་རྗེན་པ་
Transliteration: gsal ba rjen pa
<phrase> "Bared illumination". This is path language of the ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་ Mahāmudrā and རྫོགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ Great Completion systems. The term གསལ་བ་ illumination is an abbrev. of འོད་གསལ་བ་ meaning the luminosity factor of the mind. It has to be stripped totally bare of all obscuring factors during the practice, which is what this term is referring to.
འཁྲོལ་བ་
Transliteration: 'khrol ba

Transliteration: gzha' ba

ཕོང་བ་
Transliteration: phong ba
<verb> v.i. ཕོངས་པ་/ ཕོང་བ་/ ཕོང་བ་//. The basic meaning is "to be short of / lacking in" something in. Hence also "to be impoverished" regarding something, "to be poor of", and also "to be bereft of". In the case of someone without money and goods, it means "to be poor / impoverished". རི་ར་བ་
Transliteration: ri ra ba
<phrase> 1) "Enclosure of mountains e.g., as in ལྕགས་རི་ར་བ་ q.v. 2) In Tibetan literature having the sense of the mountains that surround and enclose everything in Tibet. E.g., རི་ར་བ་བྲག་ཁང་ཁྱིམ་སོགས་གང་སྣང་བའི་ཡུལ་ལ་ "for the appearing objects of the mountainous surrounds with their rocky crags and households".
