གསང་བ་གྲུབ་པ་
Transliteration: gsang ba grub pa
<name> "Accomplishment of the Secret". Abbrev. of རྒྱུད་མ་ལུས་པའི་དོན་ངེས་པར་བསྐུལ་བར་བྱེད་པ་དཔལ་གསང་བ་གྲུབ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་. The name of a text in the Mahāmudrā tradition which deals with the secret level of conduct and how to practice and accomplish it. It is quoted in Drukpa Kagyu texts.

བཏང་བ་དང་བཞག་པ་
Transliteration: btang ba dang bzhag pa
<phrase> "Keeping or letting go of", meaning deciding on the path that some things should be kept because of seeing them as valuable to the final attainment of buddhahood and that some things should be let go because of seeing that as otherwise.

གོང་དུ་འཕེལ་བ་
Transliteration: gong du 'phel ba

Transliteration: gcig tu 'du ba

སྔོན་སྦྱངས་སྐལ་བ་
Transliteration: sngon sbyangs skal ba
<noun> "The fortune of former training" meaning practice of the Buddhist path done in a former lifetime which has brought fortunate connections with dharma in this life, allowing the dharma to be entered and practised.

མ་དག་པའི་སྣང་བ་
Transliteration: ma dag pa'i snang ba
<phrase> "Impurity's appearances" or "appearances due to impurity" meaning the appearances that occur to a being in cyclic existence because of the impurity in their being. These are the same as འཁྲུལ་སྣང་ appearances of confusion q.v. E.g., ཡེ་ཤེས་མེ་ཡིས་མ་དག་སྣང་བ་བསྲེགས། "appearances due to impurity incinerated by wisdom fire".

ཤིང་བལ་གྱི་འདའ་བ་
Transliteration: shing bal gyi 'da' ba
<phrase> "Fine-combed cotton wool". Raw cotton that has been combed very well to remove all knots and impurities and has ended up as a flat sheet of cotton fibres.

སྐྱེ་བ་དང་འཇུག་པ་
Transliteration: skye ba dang 'jug pa
<phrase> "Life and entry", the two types of attainment at the completion of the Direct Crossing Path, which is the completion of the ཆོས་ཉིད་དུ་འཛིན་པ་ཟད་པའི་སྣང་བ་ Appearance of Dharmata Exhaustion. The two are སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་དབང་ཐོབ་པ་ "attainment of control over life" and འཇུག་པ་ལ་དབང་ཐོབ་པ་ "attainment of control over entry" respectively.

ཀུན་སྣང་དྭང་བ་ཅན་
Transliteration: kun snang dvang ba can
<noun> [Mngon] "Clearly Showing All". The name of a lake in the asura realm that shows what is happening in the deva realms, like the reflections in a mirror. The asuras become very jealous of what they see.
