འགྲོང་གིས་འགྲོང་ལ་སྦྱར་བ་
Transliteration: 'grong gis 'grong la sbyar ba

མཆན་ཁུང་འོག་འཁྱེར་བ་
Transliteration: mchan khung 'og 'khyer ba
<verb> v.t. see འཁྱེར་བ་ for tense forms. 1) "To carry under one's arm pit" e.g. it is said that dharma texts should not be carried clipped under the armpit". 2) It is also less literally to mean carrying in the crook of the elbow, crook of the arm, etc.
རིམ་གྱིས་པ་དང་ཅིག་ཅར་བ་

ཅུང་ཟད་ཕྲད་པའི་རྩོལ་བ་
Transliteration: cung zad phrad pa'i rtsol ba
<phrase> "Slight contact effort". One type of inner effort involved in the pronunciation of letters. See ནང་གི་རྩོལ་བ་ inner effort. This effort is the effort specifically required for the pronunciation of the consonants ཡ་, ར་, ལ་, ཝ་ in both Tibetan and Sanskrit.
སྤུ་བསྙལ་བ་
Transliteration: spu bsnyal ba
<verb> [Old] Acc. [LGK] this term was revised during the སྐད་གསར་བཅད་ language revisions and meant, when written in new signs, 1) ཉེས་པ་བཤགས་པ་ "to declare and lay aside faults" and 2) ཞེ་སྡང་ཞི་བ་ "to pacify aggression". This is the past tense form; see the present tense form སྤུ་སྙོལ་བ་ for more.

Transliteration: gzhar ba

This includes "to shear" off the fur of animals, such as shearing the wool from sheep. 2) "To scrape off" i.e., to remove the surface layer of something. Transliteration: snyan par smra ba
I. <verb> v.t. see སྨྲ་བ་ for tense forms. "To speak nicely / in a pleasing manner".
II. <noun> 1) Generally, "speaking nicely / pleasantly". 2) Translation of the Sanskrit [NDS] "priyavacana". "Speaking nicely", the second of བསྡུ་བའི་དངོས་པོ་བཞི་ the four ways of attracting disciples. 3) Abbrev. of སྙན་པར་སྨྲ་བ་པོ་ "someone who speaks nicely".
ལྷག་པར་བྱ་བ་བྱས་པ་
Transliteration: lhag par bya ba byas pa
<verb> "To have performed outstanding service", meaning to have served in a way which is above and beyond the call of duty. A standard phrase found in the sutras, e.g., [MPP] བྱམས་པ་ཁྱོད་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་སྔོན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་བ་ལ་ལྷག་པར་བྱ་བ་བྱས་པ། "Maitreya, you have in the following way performed outstanding service to the conquerors of the past".
