ཤུ་བ་
Transliteration: shu ba
<noun> 1) A skin disease that starts as scaling and roughness on the skin, turns into a blister, and ends up as an abcess that increases in size. 2) "Scab" over a healing wound or "scar tissue" over an old wound that is now healed. 3) A small problem on the skin that has itchiness associated with it.

བུང་བ་
Transliteration: bung ba
<noun> General name for small, black, winged insects like སྦྲང་མ་ bees and སྦྲང་བུ་ flies of various types. This has sometimes been translated as "bee" or "bumble-bee" but that is incorrect. It means the whole class of small, fly-like insects, which includes bees and bumble-bees.

སྙན་པར་སྨྲ་བ་
Transliteration: snyan par smra ba
I. <verb> v.t. see སྨྲ་བ་ for tense forms. "To speak nicely / in a pleasing manner".

<verb> "To have performed outstanding service", meaning to have served in a way which is above and beyond the call of duty. A standard phrase found in the sutras, e.g., [MPP] བྱམས་པ་ཁྱོད་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་སྔོན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་བ་ལ་ལྷག་པར་བྱ་བ་བྱས་པ། "Maitreya, you have in the following way performed outstanding service to the conquerors of the past".
