རིགས་དམའ་བ་
Transliteration: rigs dma' ba
<adj>phrase> 1) "Lower caste" referring to someone of lower caste in the caste system of India (see རིགས་བཞི་ four castes) or "lower family" referring to someone who comes from a family recognized as lower in social grading. 2) "Lesser type / class" or "inferior grade" in reference to something of lower grade than something else.
མ་བུ་སྦྱོར་བ་
Transliteration: ma bu sbyor ba
I. <verb> v.t. see སྦྱོར་བ་ for tense forms. "To join mother and son" (note that this is the v.t.).
II. <gerundial>phrase> "The joining of mother and son". In the higher tantras specifically meaning the act of deliberately joining the mother and son luminosities. Another, similar term for the same thing is མ་བུ་འཕྲད་པ་. Note that this phrase provides the transitive sense.
བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཟླ་བ་
Transliteration: bkra shis zla ba
<phrase> "Auspicious month"; an epithet for a month that has neither days added nor subtracted but is exactly 30 days long. (Tibetan astrological calculations sometimes result in a month having as many as two dates repeated by the addition of the same day again or as many as two dates removed).
རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་
Transliteration: rab tu dga' ba
<noun> "Utterly Joyous". Translation of the Sanskrit [NDS] "pramudita". 1) The name of the bodhisatva on the first of the བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ས་བཅུ་ ten bodhisatva bhūmis. Also translated as "very joyful", "extreme joy", "joyful", "joyous".
བསམ་བློ་གཏོང་བ་
Transliteration: bsam blo gtong ba
