རིགས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲང་བ་
Transliteration: rigs pa'i rjes su 'brang ba
<noun> "Followers of Reasoning" i.e., the Sautantrikas and the particular སེམས་ཙམ་ Cittamatra school that follows the logical reasoning set forth in the ཚད་མ་སྡེ་བདུན་ seven texts of pramāṇa by Dharmakīrti.
གདོད་མའི་མགོན་པོ་འོད་མི་འགྱུར་བ་
Transliteration: gdod ma'i mgon po 'od mi 'gyur ba
<phrase> "Primal guardian Changeless Light". The name of a buddha from whom the Dzogchen teaching is taught. It is referenced for example in Jigmey Lingpa's Highest Wisdom text.
བདག་གཞན་དང་དངོས་སུ་འབྲེལ་བ་མིན་
Transliteration: bdag gzhan dang dngos su 'brel ba min
<phrase> "Self and other not in actual relationship". Grammar term. A key term of transitive verb theory. This is the phrase used in Tibetan grammar to define that there is no transitive relationship for a verb i.e., that there is an intransitive relationship. See བདག་གཞན་ self and other for explanation.
རིན་ཆེན་དྲ་བ་ཅན་གྱིས་ཞུས་པ་
Transliteration: rin chen dra ba can gyis zhus pa
<noun> "The (Sūtra) Petitioned by Rinchen Drawacan". A Mahāyāna sūtra with the full title: འཕགས་པ་རིན་ཆེན་དྲ་བ་ཅན་གྱིས་ཞུས་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ་. མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་བ་
Transliteration: mchod pa 'bul ba
I. <verb> v.t. see འབུལ་བ་ for tense forms. "To make offerings", "to perform pūjā". To worship something regarded as holy by making offerings of one sort or another.
II. <phrase> "Making offerings", the name of one of the ཆོས་སྤྱོད་པ་བཅུ་ ten dharmic activities. This means to worship the Three Jewels or some aspect thereof by making ceremonial offerings, i.e., performing pūja to them.
ཁོངས་སུ་འདུ་བ་
Transliteration: khongs su 'du ba
<verb> v.i. see འདུ་བ་ for tense forms. Transitive form is ཁོངས་སུ་སྡུད་པ་ q.v. This phrase is not used so freq.; the equivalent ཁོངས་སུ་གཏོགས་པ་ is used more often q.v. "To be included within a category or grouping" or "to be incorporated within a category or grouping". E.g., ཁོངས་སུ་མ་འདུས་པར་ཕྱི་རོལ་ཏུ་གྱུར་པའི་ཡུལ་ "an object outside of, not included in its category".
བརྟན་མ་སྐྱོན་བ་
Transliteration: brtan ma skyon ba
<phrase> "Committing the Tenmas" or "activating the Tenmas". Secret mantra terminology of the རྙིང་མ་ old school regarding ཚོགས་འཁོར་ feast gathering. སྔགས་ཀྱི་ཕྲེང་བ་
Transliteration: sngags kyi phreng ba
<phrase> "Mantra garland". In secret mantra, the string of syllables that make up a mantra written as a string one after the other. The mantra garland is freq. in a circle around a central seed syllable e.g., [BKM] ཐུགས་ཀར་ཟླ་སྟེང་ཧཱ་ཡིག་མཐར༔ སྔགས་ཀྱི་ཕྲེང་བས་བསྐོར་བ་ "a HĀ letter on top of a moon at the heart encircled at the rim by the mantra garland".
འོད་འཕྲོ་བ་
Transliteration: 'od 'phro ba
I. <verb> v.i. see འཕྲོ་བ་ for tense forms. "To be emitting light", "to glow with light", "to be radiant". Note that this is the v.i. and the v.t. form is འོད་སྤྲོ་བ་. Despite this distinction, this form is often used with the v.t. sense.

<verb> v.t. see སྐུལ་བ་ for tense forms. "To encourage towards renunciation", "to urge to renunciation". When the Buddha turned the wheel of dharma for the first time (see ཆོས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོ་རིམ་པ་གསུམ་ three stages of the wheel of dharma) he urged the listeners to ངེས་འབྱུང་ renunciation with talk of མི་རྟག་པ་ impermanence and unsatisfactoriness.
