ཡེ་ཤེས་བདུད་རྩི་
Transliteration: ye shes bdud rtsi
<phrase> "Wisdom amṛita". A term of secret mantra. Referring to amṛita which itself is wisdom. See also བདུད་རྩི་ལྔ་ "five amritas".
ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ལྷ་
Transliteration: ye shes kyi lha

<phrase> "Wisdom fire" usually in reference to the fire surrounding the wrathful deities of Buddhist tantra. E.g., [BKM] སྡིགས་མཛུབ་ལས༔ ཡེ་ཤེས་མེ་ལྕེ་དུམ་བུར་འཕྲོ༔ "sheets of wisdom flames jet out from the threatening fingers (mudra)".

<phrase> "The accumulation of wisdom". Translation of the Sanskrit [NDS] "jñānasaṃbhāraḥ". One of the ཚོགས་གཉིས་ two accumulations q.v. The accumulation of wisdom is the cause of the སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་སྐུ་ the dharma body of a buddha.

Transliteration: ye gnas kyi shes pa
<phrase> The phrase used to explain the meaning of ཡེ་ཤེས་ which is the translation into Tibetan of the Sanskrit "jñāna". The phrase means "an awareness which is primordially (meaning most fundamentally) present".
ཤེས་རབ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་དབང་བསྐུར་
Transliteration: shes rab ye shes kyi dbang bskur
<noun> "prajñā jñāna empowerment". Translation of the Sanskrit "prajñājñāna abhiṣheka". The third of དབང་བཞི་ four empowerments contained in a complete empowerment of the higher tantras and one of ཟབ་དབང་གསུམ་ "the three profound empowerments". From the perspective of the classification into outer, inner, secret, and very secret, it is classified as the secret level of empowerment.
