རྗེས་ཆོག་
Transliteration: rjes chog
<phrase> "Subsequent rite(s) / rituals / liturgies". Abbrev. of རྗེས་མའི་ཆོ་ག་. Usually seen in secret mantra practice texts such as in the སྒྲུབ་ཐབས་ sadhana for practising a deity. It refers to the ritual section or sections that follow the main section of the practice. The sections that come before the main part are the སྔོན་ཆོག་ q.v.

<noun> "Subsequent acceptance". The realization of the four Noble Truths on the path of seeing occurs in a sequence of sixteen moments of insight via wisdom called མཐོང་ལམ་གྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐད་ཅིག་བཅུ་དྲུག་ "the sixteen moments of wisdom on the path of seeing". <noun> "Subsequent Yoga Vehicle". Translation of the Sanskrit "anuyoga yāna". The name of the vehicle corresponding to the རྗེས་སུ་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ Anuyoga tantras q.v. This vehicle is the eighth vehicle of ཐེག་པ་དགུ་ the nine vehicles q.v. It is also called ཨ་ནུ་ཡོ་གའི་ཐེག་པ་ "The Anuyoga vehicle" q.v.

This is the fourth moment of the realization of the Noble Truth of the path. It accepts the realization of ལམ་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་ཤེས་པ་ the third moment.
