ཐམ་ག་
Transliteration: tham ga
<noun> 1) "Seal"; the device used for putting a seal on letters, official documents, and so on. 2) Sometimes as a corruption of ཐ་མ་ཁ་ q.v.
ཐམ་ཀ་
Transliteration: tham ka
1) Incorrect spelling of ཐམ་ག་ q.v. (According to the rules of letter gender, the མིང་མཐའ་ name-ending after letter མ་ has to be a female ending which is ག་ not ཀ་). 2) Longchenpa in his writings uses it to mean the "surface of a plain".
ཐམ་ཐམ་
Transliteration: tham tham
<phrase> 1) "Gritting (the teeth)" together which is an appearance that beings have when they grit their teeth together as a means of withstanding great difficulty e.g., when one is very angry or e.g. very cold as in the third cold hell which is called སོ་ཐམ་ཐམ་པ་ q.v. 2) Abbrev. of སོ་ཐམ་ཐམ་པ་ the name of the third cold hell q.v.
ཐམ་པ་
Transliteration: tham pa
Used following numbers in the range 1 to 999 to indicate any multiple of ten. It has the sense of the English "even" e.g., ten even, twenty even, and so on.
It is etymologically related to གཏམས་པ་ meaning "to be packed full" and conveys the sense of a full set of ten and can also be used in other contexts to mean a complete set of something.

Transliteration: ka tham
<noun> "Ka tham". Acc. [GCD] སྣོད་སྤྱད་ཅིག་ i.e., the name of a particular type of utility vessel.
ཐང་ག་
Transliteration: thang ga
<noun> "Thangka". Tibetan painting usually done on canvas or sized cloth and usually of a religious motif. The painting usually has a cloth border of brocade sewed around it as a matter of respect. The whole thing can be rolled up for storage or conveyance. See also ནག་ཐང་ "black thangka".
